The Second NNU Youth Summit: A Great Success

On the afternoon of May 5th, the second NNU youth summit was successfully held on the Great Lawn of Suiyuan Campus! Sponsored by the Graduate School of ICCS, this year’s Youth Summit focused on two countries, Russia and Laos, both related to the Belt and Road strategy of China.
Pan Baiqi, Vice President of NNU, attended the grand gathering and made a speech at the very beginning, pointing out that ICCS has been giving excellent performance in enlarging the international influence of NNU. All the related leaders of ICCS took part in the event with participants of more than 300.
During the event, Pan honored the Chinese teaching volunteering group of ICCS with a silk banner, and awarded a certificate to Ta Lana, a student from Azerbaijan, for her great performance in the Chinese Teaching Competition.
Adapted into English version by students of ICCS, the beautiful rhythm of the NNU anthem lighted up the atmosphere, which was followed by various kinds of colorful activities, including appreciating Russian songs and Laotian dance. Other interactive games were involved as well, such as imitating Laotian dance and knowledge competition. All these led participants into an exploration of Russian and Laotian culture.
The second NNU Youth Summit turned out to be a great success. It was not only a positive response to the Belt and Road policy, but also a full presentation of ICCS’s characteristic, which can be developed as a brand activity of NNU.
We are looking forward to the next one!
